Private Energy Systems, Inc. and Green Century Solutions has brought together the best natural system processes for bio remediation of CO² (Carbon Dioxide) and NO (Nitrous Oxide). Dry process biofuels are essentially powders that can be fluidized and combusted in jet turbine engines, and have been around for a long time, at least since the first pulverized coal power plants. What Turbine BioFuel has done is identify the most effective feedstock’s, process methodology and fuel delivery processes to make dry process biofuels scalable to military operations. Consequently, Turbine BioFuel claims that its dry algae bio fuel is the “future of modern flight”.
Turbine BioFuel has met its initial funding goals and will shortly announce an IPO opportunity in the near future. The company’s target markets are: Northrop/Grumman GlobalHawk Block 20 programs, Boeing Phantom program X-45, DoD Allied Operations Drone programs, and ground-based turbine applications such as tanks and generators. The company reports that it has made contact with these targeted markets, all of which are interested in an effective, low cost, and ecologically sound replacement for petro-chemical based fuels. Indeed, in August, Turbine BioFuel announced that it had made the first sale of its aviation fuel to the United States Air Force Research Laboratory for further testing.
